The holiday season is upon us, and Christmas is only 100 days away! 2020 was a year like no other for e-commerce retailers, and this holiday season is shaping up to be just as impactful as last year’s. Still, while we prepare for the jump in order quantities, shipping carriers will likely be impacted by similar labor and bandwidth constraints as the last holiday season. Our best advice? Be Prepared! We want to make sure you know what to expect when it comes to fulfilling orders so customers experience seamless service.
Please Be Aware of the Following Important Key Points
- Carriers are already imposing Surcharges as they are expecting higher than anticipated volume this holiday season
- MWW has adjusted our recommended ship dates earlier in the month to ensure delivery by Christmas.
- While some packages shipped after the recommended dates below may make it to their intended destinations by Christmas, MWW cannot guarantee carriers will be able to achieve those delivery dates without expedited charges.
- Please keep a close eye on any updates from your preferred carriers through this holiday time frame!
